DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Holiday Express train will be visiting our region along with Santa Claus and his elves! \nThe 2024 CPKC Holiday Train will tour Canada and the U.S. Starting here in Saint John Nov. 21 through Dec. 20\,\nraising money\, food and awareness to support food banks across our network. \nProfessional musicians play free concerts from the brightly decorated train’s stage.\nSome of the artists that will be performing on the train include Tyler Shaw\, Magic!\, KT Tunstall\, The James Barker Band.\nCPKC donates to the local food bank at each stop and encourages all attendees to make a monetary or heart-healthy food donation.\nSince its inaugural journey in 1999\, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $24.3 million\nand collected approximately 5.3 million pounds of food for community food banks in Canada and the U.S. \nThe Holiday Train runs Nov. 21 to Dec. 20 for its 26th year of spreading holiday cheer and raising money\,\nfood and awareness for people struggling with food insecurity.\nNov 21st the train is scheduled to start here in Saint John! \nParking at TD Station will be limited during the CPKC Holiday Train event\,\nhowever the City of Saint John is pleased to offer these\nalternative free event parking options starting at 5:00 p.m.:\nSmythe Street parking lot\nPeel Plaza parking garage\nLong Wharf parking lot \nAll of the details for the CPKC Holiday Train can be found here! \n \n
